We will use discord for voice comms – so you will need a microphone. Sessions will be run every week from 7pm-11pm UK time (currently GMT/UTC+0). All Pathfinder rules are available for free legally online, but I will explain them for anyone new to the system as we play. I myself may be experienced, and can guide people through the system, but I don't expect everyone else to be. No previous with Pathfinder is required, and in fact new players are highly encouraged. Pathfinder is fantasy roleplay system similar to D&D but with more character customization. The game is Pathfinder 2e, starting at level 1, and potentially going all the way to level 20 (if people enjoy it). Yet all of this is framed by the heroes’ role within the traveling circus, including special systems for performing circus tricks and managing the circus.
The Extinction Curse Adventure Path has its fair share of traditional adventuring elements: the heroes will navigate deadly dungeons, interact with colorful NPCs in engaging social encounters, acquire legendary treasures, and solve millennia-old mysteries. The heroes destined to confront this enemy have humble beginnings, working as members of a novice circus troupe! This ancient enemy seeks to bring desolation to the Isle of Kortos.
